At Ten Feet Tall Dance Studio, wearing the proper dance attire helps students move safely, learn proper technique, and feel confident in class. Below you'll find the dress code for each class. If you have any questions, we're always happy to help!

Why Does Dance Attire Matter?

Proper dancewear allows instructors to see alignment and technique while giving dancers the freedom to move comfortably and safely. Wearing the correct shoes also helps students develop the proper skills for each dance style.

Please refer to the images below for the required attire and shoes for each class and age group

Hair Requirements

For safety and neatness, long hair should be secured away from the face before class.

Ballet: Hair in a bun is preferred.

Other classes: A ponytail, braid, or bun is acceptable unless otherwise instructed.
